The world of RVing has become a pretty interesting place in the last few years.
In many respects, it’s become bigger with more people choosing to lead a nomadic lifestyle of sorts or simply spend more time traveling with their accommodations in tow.
In September, we’ll be heading to what’s sure to be the center of the universe for RVing – America’s Largest RV Show. We couldn’t be more excited to get better acquainted with the latest innovations for recreational vehicles.
What We’ll Be Up To at America’s Largest RV Show
This year’s show will be our first.
Though we won’t have a booth, Mike Fralick, one of our Regional Sales Managers, will be attending. And while he’s eager to see what the show has to offer and explore the world of RVing, he’s also looking forward to seeing opportunities for Weber Knapp products to bring improved functionality to campers of all shapes and sizes.
We’re no stranger to the world of RVs.
In fact, we’ve worked with several RV and camper manufacturers to create custom motion control products. Other RV manufacturers have integrated some of our standard hinges into their camper’s designs, like those used for cabinet doors.
When we look at RVs and the RVing lifestyle, we see a world of possibilities for motion control.
As space inside an RV – no matter how big – is a precious commodity, many of our products help. Whether it’s putting up a Murphy bed or a countertop, our counterbalance spring hinges can make moving either a much easier and more fluid lift.
Or what about the mobile office for those who work on the road? Our ergonomic products have as much a place there as they do in a traditional setting. Keeping your computer tower or even mouse and keyboard safe and out of the way is simple while traveling, yet in the right position when in use.
The newest member of our Smokin’ Ugly family also pairs well with the world of RVing. Our TG Series Grill is perfect for the person looking for the best RV grill. Small yet versatile, the TG grill is a triple threat. With a few simple adjustments, the TG goes from RV BBQ grill to a griddle or pizza oven. And with an adjustable spring hinge, you have more control over lid positioning for heat capturing or reduction during cooking.
America’s Largest RV Show Overview
This year’s show is slated from Sept. 13-17 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.
Presented by the Pennsylvania Recreational Vehicle Association, the event showcases more than 1,400 RVs across the center’s campus. The event is the place to see the latest RV models and their amenities, as well as get a glimpse of what the future holds for the world of RVing.
In addition to the RVs, plenty of vendors will be set up throughout the Giant Center with everything from RV parts and personal care items to cleaning products and the latest RV accessories.
Throughout the weeklong show, there’s a full docket of presentations, with topics ranging from planning a trip with your RV to appliance selection and becoming a full-time RV’er.
Now in its fifth decade, the show draws more than 60,000 attendees. Organizers expect this year to be no different.
